Caleb Goodwin deposition, 1763.

Deposition in which Goodwin swears that the vessel "Good Intent" was boarded by John Preble, son of Jedediah Preble, commander of Penobscot Fort (in reality Fort Pownall), and detained for twelve hours for not having rendered due compliments when passing the fort. Includes references to Captain William Bucknam and Ebenezer Buxton (master).
